I can't say when this issue really started, it was a case I noticed my CPU frequency in task manager not lowering down last month, but this behaviour can potentially be there since months or years.
Unfortunately I have no points of restore available that bring me to a "working" state. The updates installed are the same for my actual not working CnQ system, and the "test" working CnQ fresh install, as the the BIOS settings, that are untouched.
I confirm you there is no overclocking on my PC. After doing this I saw a drastically more consistent and stable settlement of CPU to the lowest possible frequencies. Using the standard microsoft drivers, as reported by other users, should make SSD work faster and possibily better I don't understand if the NVIDIA drivers support the trim function correctly , but on the other side, at least to me, introduces this issue that I will confirm finishing and testing the setup correctly.
Trying to force the same driver on the "old" system unfortunately doesn't fix the problem, so probably is not recoverable in the aftermath. I am proceeding in the dead times to set up again the entire system on the test SSD, using the windows imaging tool to create different backups as I go on with major additions, to be able to go back granularly eventually.
I almost finished to install and set up the most important things and I didn't encountered any problem so far, the issue is gone and the CnQ feature is working as expected, and that's the good thing, my CPU and fan finally can get some relax.
